Results from 5/26

Well today was a much better day overall. Tourneys did not go well as I just really could not get as aggressive as I would have liked. The 1/2 NL cash game at Pokershare went well though and the bankroll has now risen to an all time high of $12,694.

Sunday is my wedding anniversary and we are celebrating it tomorrow night as well. No poker or updates from me until Monday. I will be playing in the bluff poker tour event at Pokershare on Sunday at 5pm. I am hoping to do much better than I have recently. Pokershare has served me well, so we shall see if that can continue.

Take care and enjoy the holiday weekend!!!!!!!

What is truly funny is the fact that I had no clue this promotion was going on!!!! Thanks for the information, and I will make sure that I finish in the top 50 now.

Working on my limit game.
OK. I'm Very pleased with how I'm playing my cards. One problem. I keep leaving the table at the end of a bad run. So I'm ending up down for the session.

Do you suggest changing tables after a "hot run"? Or anything like that? I'll be up say, 15x the BB at a table. Then give it all back and more.

I really don't feel that it's my play that is a problem. Just a rough run of cards. (or is it really my play).

Would love some feedback regarding this.

I never leave a table unless I feel that I am not playing well. By playing well I mean am I making the right decisions? The right decisions could cost you alot of money short term, but over your lifetime you will win money with the correct decisions.

Now for your situation. Do you have pokertracker? When I used to get up alot of money I would be generous with my starting hand requirements and generous with my post flop play. After all why wouldnt I take that 2-1 odds to hit my gutshot straight draw? I have been hitting it all day, I must be due. That is poor thinking obviously. The cards dont have a clue what they gave you last hand, last hour, last session, and to be honest they dont care either.

So I would look at the sessions for the reasons why you are losing pots. Did you make the right decision or not? That is the only answer you need.
